Spiritual Revolution Interrupted
Last week I mentioned the 50th year return of 11/22/63 - the JFK hit - which was last month, if anyone was off-planet and missed the days of regurgitation of the half-century of lies and obfuscation. Some people also think that the JFK thing is unimportant and irrelevant to today, medieval history or something.
The problem with that is: because of the lack of a clear impression of the context - what led up to, and followed that event - in most 'historical' sources available, and/or you weren't there and aware, as it was going down, then you'll have no idea of the depth of the rabbit hole connecting that time to our present.
Astrologers even interpret the time '66-'69 (approx.) of the Uranus-Pluto conjunction somewhat according to the common impressions that have been propagandized to the public for almost 5 decades. Mostly, people just don't "get" how what exponentially expanded was the fully-committed and fully-funded majorly-focused War-on-revolutionary-mass-consciousness-expansion - BOTH spiritual and political - a 'necessity' which had long been anticipated and planned for.
While other, secret and foreign, wars had been going on, the JFK hit was the opening shot for this new domestic-and-universal war. It was also the triggering wake-up gong for a segment of a particular generation. After all the other hits, on Malcolm, on King, on RFK, the Manson case was the final deadly blast to fully and permanently traumatize the expanding minds of a young generation - destined to be relegated to the ('official' historical) status of 'lost failures'.
Power proceeded to be consolidated in the hands of fascists through further events, social engineering and propaganda. But even the most observant and aware of us don't completely have the full picture of the connections-and-players throughout ALL the psy-operations that went down and are still going down, by the same players and play-book.
Mae Brussell greatly rounds out this picture in one of her archived radio broadcasts from 1971. Brussell began researching the JFK hit from the day after it happened. Over years she compiled a wall-covering time-line of all the characters' movements and meetings, up to, during, and after the event. As she worked she kept adding and following through months and years the comings and goings of the same characters and their networks, eventually covering all the major psychopathic events of 3 decades. She passed in '88 (likely poisoned).
She and I were two out of thousands of the folks at the Monterey Pop (she lived there) - where so many of the musicians were bumped-off in the next following years (no co-incidences). She knows of what she speaks. She was there in the middle of it all. So was I, working at the LA Freepress, where the visionaries gradually overcame the old Marxist/socialist limited paradigm initially setting the vibe, and it joined with the larger exquisite collective vision that solidified briefly for anyone with eyes to see.
Back in the 70s-80s I tried to catch as many of Mae's radio shows as I could, from those small South Bay stations, but missed many. This one I had never heard, and it's a mind-blower. What comes out clearly is the major role of language in creating the mind-fuckery and basically the illusory 'powerlessness' we experience against all the atrocious bullshit we're subjected to on every level in our slaughterhouse-planet reality.
Listen to just one one-hour broadcast of Brussell from '71, which encapsulates the energy level and intensity of this interrupted revolutionary phenomenon, and just a basic good history lesson you didn't get in school. Sayin' it like it is:

Best Christmas Movie ever, and falling apart and keeping it together in this time
VS
They never told me there would be so many ways to be broken open in this time in one short incarnation. Breaking open coming by way of feeling and witnessing, experiencing the incontrovertible truths revealed along side the rigid, white-knuckled clinging to ignorance, the astonishing beauty and the incomprehensible horrors, the infinite depths of love in close proximity with sheer hatred, the ecstasy of aliveness and the twisted worship of death, the monumental collective mystical visions revealed followed by the crushing obliteration of all possibilities. But that's the way it is, and I've somehow grown to almost welcome the totality of it, even the tears and paralyzing periods of hopelessness and confusion, as it all somehow invariably leads to another deeper level of contemplation and expanded awareness - often feeling like a rebirth into still another universe of unknowns. Ok, bring it on, damn it!
Awareness of death is the constant, whether its closeup in our personal world or on the other side of the planet, whether related to a friend or an iconic personality of the world stage, of a whole species/tribe or a single creature. Either in the present moment or in some past memory, so much death seems pointless and 'un-natural', meaningless no matter how one views these events through whatever spiritual practice, reflection, teachings, scriptures, cosmologies, or profound utterances of revered sages and enlightened masters. And yet there is clear knowing, truth be told, that its not those man-made mythical 'gods/lords' who are the ones that possess "immortality" [this knowing requires severe perseverance of inquiry].
Still I have yet to achieve any level of abiding psychological equanimity around the reality of this apparently near-total condition of a death-culture planet. I can only take the dualities in, and let my beingness assimilate and process the strangeness as it's able. I often contemplate transitioning/crossing over to the other side, just to end the disturbance of continuous incomprehension. I also know my time/window could be one minute from now.
Besides being broken open on a daily, if not hourly, basis by the fact of living fully in the moment with my beloved, on a razor's edge of managing a mysterious affliction (which is btw a 1-1/4 billion dollar/year Wetiko-controlled death-and-greed-business), there are all the elements of the death-culture insanity which inevitably creep in from the larger Matrix to our nearby environs and hit us up with constant reminders of the micro-macro interplay.
That being said, the other side of the coin, so to speak, is the equally inscrutable phenomenon of 'saving graces' which appear in the midst of overwhelming thoughts of throwing in the towel. [Yes, we do have an incredibly beauty-filled life!] The graces can come in the form of uplifting creativity by like-minded individuals, known and unknown, by convergence of wild natural elements arising in our presence, friends bringing our attention to astonishing corroboration of truths we know in our hearts and guts but whose exposures/acknowledgements are vehemently opposed and obstructed and obscured by the death-culture and its mouthpieces…there are uncountable ways and forms of Grace's appearances.
How challenging and mind-expanding is caretaking for a loved-one with a potentially "terminal" illness? There are no words. Try it sometime. The ultimate exercise in stress-management. The ultimate in self- and love-discovery.
Here we are again, with another Christmas showing up, just around the corner. This year, sit the family down in front of your favorite audio-visual-projection device and check out, to my mind, the best ever Christmas movie: Dakota 38. This short (1 hour, 18 min.) documentary is way more than it initially appears to be. Reality as it is, on so many levels.
Anyway, much, if not most, of what's contemplated throughout any given day, as well as what gets written, revolves around and returns to the central issue of Sentience, for me, even if/when traveling through time and space on unreasonably wide tangents. For the last some amount of days, there have been really wide tangents due to various intense inputs, so there's likely to be some major wandering here today.
A place to start would maybe be a new physics article brought to our attention by "aangirfan" - "In a Rainbow Universe…" Quite interesting in a "Shiva/destroyer-of-time" sense, but also about the other 'places' which one can go with this theory: "Some scientists believe that with 'different energies' ( or wavelengths or frequencies) we can experience different worlds (or space-times)"….the "universe consists of an infinite number of frequencies or dimensions of life that share the same space"…."particles with different energies will actually see different space-times"….Anyway, much food for contemplation.
The day before seeing the above, I was standing in the snowy yard welcoming the sunrise with my coffee and tobacco, when a sense of clarity arose. Musicians/drummers can have a visceral understanding of how all creation is vibration, and how the infinite sea of vibration is everywhere with no beginning nor end, how it consists of an infinite spectrum of wavelengths and frequencies. It suddenly became clear to me that it's also possible that the "spectrum" of consciousness and sentience is equally infinite. Remembering Henry Beston's quote about the non-human beings: "they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time", I thought that it's more likely that in addition, they are simultaneously occupying overlapping consciousness frequencies with us as well as primarily being "home" in other "locations" of space-time. Perhaps species are strung out along the spectrum, some being closer, others farther, from one another. The point being: that there are no 'higher-and-lower' levels or hierarchies of sentience, including vegetable and mineral forms, even.
Then, the next day I read the Rainbow Universe article and one anonymous commenter wrote the following: "Our thoughts are our vibrational frequency, and LOVE vibrates at the highest frequency. This explains the sentience we recognize in our animal friends". Comforting synchronicity.
Then, this morning I find this in my email: "The Incredible Story of how leopard Diabolo became Spirit…" , courtesy of amarynth.
I really can't comment on this, except that it completely broke me open. In a beautiful way. And that it's maybe the best little (13 min.) animal-communication vid ever. (Also…I had a feline friend in this life who told me profound things very similar to this transmission, and deeply life-changing.)
One more vid, a break-you-open piece by "michaeljohn": "Almost Home" to accompany the same song by an artist named Moby. Description: "This is a simple story. It's not unique or fantastical. It's not clever or grand. It's a common story told from a different perspective. This video is dedicated to those who love unconditionally yet have been abandoned. May they find their home."
For someone who worked daily for 3 years in a public animal shelter, this cuts to the core. Do I need to say again "every innocent creature is precious"?
I notice that Uranus went direct on Tuesday, along with the Full Moon. More collective upheaval and anarchy may ensue, which may or may not be unwelcome at this stage. Also, as the town astrologer pointed out to me in the line at the Post Office - on New Years Day: the Sun will conjunct the Moon (New) conjunct Pluto!. Some kinda maha-reboot action there coming our way in 2014, as this sets the astro tone for the whole year. Or…it could just be, as Bob sang, "total destruction the only solution"…..
The war on innocence proceeds at a feverish pitch and like a broken record, as we've become accustomed. The warriors seem to never sleep. This just in:
"ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Companies in New Mexico and Missouri could begin slaughtering horses within a few weeks after a federal appeals court removed a temporary ban that was preventing domestic horse slaughter from resuming for the first time since 2007...The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver lifted an emergency injunction Friday that it had issued in November after animal protection groups appealed the ruling of a federal judge in Albuquerque…"
You see, ranchers, slaughterhouse operators, politicians, and other Wetiko-plague-infested forces are "concerned" about "the most humane way to deal with the country's wild horse 'overpopulation', and the 'rising number of neglected and starving horses as the West deals with persistent drought'." Proponents say "it is better to slaughter the animals in humane, federally regulated facilities than have them abandoned to starve across the drought-stricken West or shipped to inhumane facilities in Mexico". Can't you just feel the genuine concern, compassion and empathy? I mean, there's just no other way to solve "the problem", right?
If only someone would come up with a better idea, but, alas….absolutely NO ONE has a better idea, apparently (cough). Sort of reminds one of the "destroy the village to save it" days of the Vietnam war era. I'll have more to say on that shit too, but later.
Also, a lawsuit has just been filed by WildEarth Guardians to disband the infamous USDA "Wildlife Services" (formerly "Animal Damage Control"), annual killers of ~3.4 MILLION wild animals [2012], unaccountable to no one, with no oversight. Example of their handiwork: Coyotes: by arial gunning - 26,000; by sodium cyanide [illegal M44s] - 14,000; trapped - 23,000… probably bogus figures, but you get the idea.
While that's the constant background noise in our public lands and commons, we have an Idaho parallel to our own recent New Mexico coyote-killing contest insanity: a competitive "Wolf Derby" put on by "hunters' rights organizations" [Idaho For Wildlife] for the week after Christmas (kids' division too!), wherein prizes will be awarded for the largest wolf and most female coyotes. Not making this up. Stated purpose is: "to show the world that no one can stop us from killing wolves" – not you, not me, "and especially not the federal government". (Wanna bet they're all good 'christian patriots'?)
Um, maybe I should mention the famous "All you animal activists, Fuck You!" video of the horse slaughter advocate here in my state (you didn't see it?) - the one that made the evening news and went viral: dude leads a beautiful healthy pony from his barn toward the camera, strokes the horse on the head, turns to the camera, flips the bird and says the above obscenity, then proceeds to pull out his handgun and shoot the horse in the head. Yeah, its on Youtube, and uncensored HERE (warning: awful).
All you can do is realize there is no "WHY?". Such a level of hate, mental derangement, and spiritual depravity and emptiness cannot be comprehended by the non-Wetiko-ized consciousness. Our so-called civilization is so wetiko-ized that it's taken till now to expose what finally has come out with crystal clarity in Rolling Stone magazine's extensive essay "Belly of the Beast". It's now the situation throughout the industrialized world…and about time.
This whole argument/debate over 'animal rights'/ sentience is nothing but pure bullshit, philosophical mind-fuckery, and archontic time-and-energy wasting programming to keep the human slaves distracted with personal material pursuits.
It's about soul, nothing more, nothing less. The 'indigenous soul' as Martin Prechtel refers to. It's either intact or absent/lost. Enough said. Get over it, and get on with it - total liberation. Support the liberationists any way you can - "terrorists" who have NEVER harmed a living being - they are the warrior heroes of our time.
Note: ANIMAL LIBERATION FRONT WEBSITE HAS BEEN DOWN FOR 4 DAYS! I guess they've been reporting too many successful raids/releases/rescues around the world, as people are slowly, finally waking up everywhere.
I notice that the local health food store now carries the "Paleo diet" magazine, and local restaurants carry "Paleo-burritos". What freaking insanity. It's fuckin 2013, not 20,013 BC. More confusing bullshit. This kind of shit is also promoted on websites like "Signs of the Times" (Sott.net), with their arrogant smug holed-up-in-their-ivory-mansion idiots constantly telling us "whole grains are poison", and making continuous "bacon jokes". What pieces of shit, along with their total denial of anthropogenic climate change (google: conservatives pump 1 billion a year into climate denial…), their denial of existence of chemtrails, insistence that Boston Marathon was real, marijuana is bad, etc etc. Most "conspiracy/progressive" websites and radio are full of shit these days, run by former right-wing, barely-waking-up self-described "truth seekers", that are massively promoting racist, misogynist, homo-phobic, right-wing, fundi-christian ideologies. I would be wary of ANY blogs or websites associating IN ANY WAY with these assholes. I'm talking biggies Rense, Truthseeker, Rappaport, Jim Stone, and a slew of others. LITMUS TEST: anyone whose articles, or who link articles containing the word "COMMIE" is an idiot, moron, ignorant loser, and probably a fascist-in-denial.
This last month was really wacked, with the 50th JFK thing and then Mandela. Re: JFK - you had to have been there. More than "a president" was blown away….more like possibly a million real changes that 'might have happened', of which visions we let ourselves entertain for a moment. Gone in a moment! Everything that followed led us to this moment today. People still believe some 'commie' did it. There is a mountain of evidence that points to both Nazis and Zionists. Do your own research. It was most likely all of the above plus many more - but, no 'commies'. Just like there were no Arabs on 911. But you all probably know all that. I'm just ranting. It was a tough month. Just trying to move on, trying to accept that things are the way they are. We do what we can, and spread the love a bit every day. Justice seems not to be in our hands. Maybe we'll see when we cross over, who knows?
Said there would be some wide wandering here. I wish everyone peace and safe sanctuary in this trying time.

That's what I'm talkin' about
INDIA'S ELEPHANT GIRL TAKES ON THE HERDS
Nirmala, forest department officials say, acted as a real-life "pied-piper" when she managed to drive the herd back to the forest, much to the relief of the residents."
"First I pray and then talk to the herd. They understand what I say. I tell them this is not your home. You should return where you belong," says Nirmala who is a Roman Catholic."

So, how many more examples do we need to keep bringing up to make the 'connection' in the human consciousness about where we need to go, and be?
You'll notice that one brainwashed, intellectual wetiko-enabler (obviously proud of the fact, or hopeful, that he won't be identified with the "backward castes") weighed in by saying, "there is no scientific evidence that wild elephants can understand what a human says. Mr Pradhan says the girl claims to talk to the herd in her own tribal language, but there is no basis for the elephants to follow what she says".
Maybe Indians, as well as the rest of the human race, should look closely at this term "backward" and all the implications thereof. This sickening mindset has continued for too many thousands of generations. Can't we just blow it off, for good, like now?
May every living being enjoy this pristine universe.
"Fourteen-year old Nirmala Toppo has become something of a minor celebrity in the eastern Indian state of Orissa.
In June, panic gripped the industrial city of Rourkela one
night when a herd of wild elephants entered residential areas from dense
forests nearby. Nirmala, forest department officials say, acted as a real-life "pied-piper" when she managed to drive the herd back to the forest, much to the relief of the residents."

Buffalo communique
This is a reprint of a recent article from the current issue of Green Fire Times (www.greenfiretimes.com), a monthly resource newspaper distributed in the north central New Mexico area.
Because it is a small distribution publication, I thought the following should be shared with a wider readership:
In June, 2013, Jose Lucero of Santa Clara Pueblo, and Robert Staffanson, 92, visited the Buffalo Nation on Ted Turner's 'Flying D' Bison Ranch in Montana.

Blackfish and Wetiko
Non-human sentience: the complete picture-
Maha-ignorant human speciesism in living black and white
And speaking of the Wetiko epidemic (ahem, isn't wetiko always the subtext?), the following is a small excerpt I recently read from the amazing, most vitally important spiritual book of our time - Dispelling Wetiko: Breaking the Curse of Evil, by Paul Levy.
WĆ©tiko disables our ability for discernment. Being a spiritual warrior, however, requires, embraces and includes the most extreme discernment, which is the capacity to differentiate and tell one thing from another, and is related to our ability for naming things. Etymologically speaking, the word ‘discern’ has to do with ‘to distinguish between, to detect or discover that which is hidden or obscure.’ Discernment is radically different than when we are unconsciously caught in judgment, which is a reaction to and contraction against something. Discernment is the ability to make distinctions and see clearly, which is an expression of an expanded and evolved consciousness. It requires an ability to see through and beyond the outer plane of appearances and penetrate to the deeper, essential dynamics at play beneath the surface. As our consciousness develops, so does our facility of discernment. The faculty of discrimination and discernment is the sin qua non of all consciousness. Wielding the wisdom of discernment is an essential function of an awakening consciousness and is an expression of genuine compassion. The primary factor determining whether a daemonic energy like wĆ©tiko will move in mainly destructive or constructive, and creative directions is whether or not our capability for discernment in-forms our actions in the world.
A non-wĆ©tikoized psyche has developed a strong psychic muscle of discernment. For example, consider darkness. There are two sources of darkness; one we don’t want anything to do with; the other we do. We need to be able to differentiate the two, or we’ll be lost and disoriented in the shadows. The first type of darkness is the darkness of the abyss of evil which actively refuses the light of consciousness and thereby prevents us from seeing. This darkness is truly destructive, in the ‘demonic’ sense, in the extremity of its distance from the light and is the darkness to which the lower self is susceptible. We don’t want to become involved with, entangled in, nor invest our attention in this kind of darkness which, energetically speaking, is like a black hole. The other type of darkness is what mystics call by names such as the ‘black light,’ the ‘luminous darkness,’ and the ‘black sun.’ This darkness isn’t merely an absence of light, but a quality that is an expression of the presence of a higher-dimensional, invisible and uncreated form of light, the indwelling light of being that has no opposite. This luminous darkness has a light hidden within it; the way to discover this light is through this darkness. To quote Meister Eckhart, “Truly, it is in the darkness that one finds the light.” This invisible form of light, the non-dual light of sentient awareness itself, cannot be seen because it is the light by which we see. However, this second type of darkness is also very dangerous, in that it heralds the final, perilous stage of the mystical journey in which we can potentially transcend the illusion of our ego and recognize the Divine Presence. This divinely inspired dark night of the soul, a phase in which the soul is being purified of any remaining obscurations, must be clearly distinguished and discriminated from the demonic shadow that obscures it. To do this requires a cultivated, refined and fully operating organ of discernment.
In the ‘prima materia,’ there is a certain intractable amount of what is called ‘terra damnata’ (accursed earth), which defies all efforts at transformation, and therefore must be rejected and thrown out. This is symbolic of that there are certain energies in the psyche, we can call them ‘archetypal evil,’ that need to be resisted. This has its analogue in the physical realm, in that there are certain extremely lethal germs that can literally kill us. These dark, archetypal energies of the psyche are literally saturated in evil and are unredeemable, they are not able to be metabolized, assimilated, digested nor incorporated into the psyche. Immune to any human intervention, these energies cannot be united with, nor in any way integrated in the alchemical laboratory of the psyche; they are analogous to the deadliest of toxins. They must be kept outside the alchemical operation, for if ‘let in’ they will contaminate and destroy the work. Similarly, we don’t invite a vampire into our house, nor negotiate, make deals with nor compromise with this figure, for if we do so, we have already lost. This is like an alcoholic taking the first drink, which is in that moment to be offering their neck to the vampire. If someone has an overly righteous and fixed idea of wanting to be ‘all-embracing,’ however, which they mistakenly think would mean letting these toxic elements into the operation, they will pay a huge price, sometimes even with their lives. To be all-embracing includes embracing the understanding that there are energies in the psyche that must not be embraced; this is to be genuinely all-embracing, which includes the capacity for discriminating whether to engage with something or not. In addition, to be all-embracing means to embrace the part of ourselves that doesn’t embrace, which literally cuts through the dualistic polarization which feeds the unholy heart of wĆ©tiko. The awakening heart of humanity is truly all- embracing, which not only overflows with compassion, but also is strongly steeped in the ability to discern one thing from another and thus has the wisdom to know what to avoid.
Once an autonomous complex such as wĆ©tiko emancipates itself from the co- operative economy of the psyche, it can take on a truly demonic status. Even though the demon of wĆ©tiko came about through the creative power of the divine, once it attains sufficient autonomy, it is no longer totally under the control of divine power, no longer wholly under the divine thumb, nor safely domesticated in the divine household. Rather, it can oppose divine power and threaten its purposes. To put on my theological hat for a moment, everything is not and could not be separate from God, as everything that is or could ever be is God Itself. And yet, God has set up the universe, so to speak, such that the creation has a degree of autonomy relative to its creator. An autonomous, daemonic power like wĆ©tiko is an example of a divine energy gone bad, reminiscent of fallen angels becoming corrupted and running amok. Scholar Rudolph Otto, in The Idea of the Holy, refers to it as the “myterium tremendum cut loose from the other elements and intensified to mysterium horrendum.” The Bible refers to this as the “abomination that causeth desolation.” It is crucial to not be absorbed in the fantasy of magical thinking and think that everything will turn out OK because God is in charge. To not recognize that the demonic has potentially deadly consequences is to be in denial and is simply bad theology, and is ultimately a form of ignorance.
An overly optimistic view, believing that God is in complete control of everything and will therefore come to our aid like a cosmic parent, and that everything is perfect, is equally as misguided a view as pessimism. On the one hand, from the absolute perspective, everything is perfect. And, at the same time, from the relative point of view, things are obviously far less than perfect, sub-optimal beyond belief. There exists a point of no return, the crossing of a certain threshold, the symbolic Rubicon, such that if things get bad enough, attain a sufficient momentum, they become truly irreversible in our lifetime, with severely destructive consequences (think of the environment, for one example). To not to realize this is to be simply fooling ourselves. If we assume that we can go on with business as usual, while destructive evil mounts on all sides, naively assuming that a beneficent God will take care of us, preventing anything really disastrous from happening, we are deluding ourselves. This would be analogous to viewing the current state of our body politic, which can be likened to a ship of state being driven by drunken adolescents who have fallen asleep at the wheel and are steering us over a cliff and we, as passengers, are totally trusting, just assuming that God will take care of everything (forgetting the maxim that God helps those who help themselves). This is an incredibly naĆÆve, pre-adolescent, ignorant point of view, simply called ‘wrong view’ in Buddhism. It is an expression of not being grounded in this world, of avoiding the harsh reality that from one very real point of view, things really are as bad as they seem. To just think that God will come down and save the day is to not realize our responsibility as co-dreamers of the dream to proactively do something, to channel this daemonic energy that is in- forming events in our world in a constructive, instead of a destructive way. If we are attached to an optimistic point of view without realizing that what plays out in our world is not written in stone but depends upon us, we are investing in a complacent attitude which falsely absolves us from the need to act and doing whatever it is that can and needs to be done. The demonic potentially can become an instrument for God, but this depends not just on God, but upon us too, as we are playing a crucial role in the Divine process of creation and Incarnation.
This being said, having a healthy dose of optimism is a good and helpful attitude, as there are an ever-increasing number of people who are awakening. This optimism is to be in touch with reality, in contrast to the overly one-sided optimism described previously, which is a denial and avoidance of reality. As those of us who are awakening to our intrinsic gifts stabilize our lucidity and connect with each other, all bets are off, as anything becomes possible. The only limitation is our lack of imagination, a limit which itself is truly imaginary.

The music and dance ensemble I was involved in last week had a performance which was streamed and posted on ustream. com. The audio and visual quality is low, and a proper video was also made which may be available later. But for a taste, you can watch a clip of the last number, Moksha, the liberation dance of Odissi repertoire at the link below. I am playing mardala drum at the far left side and speaking the "bols" [tat thei...].

Mahakaleshwari timing
Ok, back up for a minute. This is for the 3 people who read this page and have found some obscure value in it over the past couple years, whose loving support I have treasured and am grateful for.
The past 5 weeks have been the most intense days of my lifetime, and I'm just coming here to give a short summary of what's going on and what I'm dealing with right now. Actually, the past 8 months have been completely intense and awesome, but things took a twist about 5 weeks back. Thing is, is I'm still managing to do some major music work despite all the rest of the shit going on.
During this period I've been tempted to point out various crimes against creation by the wetikos, for example our local New Mexico coyote killing contests (again!) as well as the recent prairie dog killing contest....this kind of shit is apparently unstoppable by any known legal means, and tends to give one dreams of 'hunter' killing contests. But anyway, there has been no time for covering such madness which is a mere speck in the totality of the sick times. There's also the mind-numbing insanity of so much of the blog world that has made me just take leave of bothering with most all of it. I'm talking about the soooo cool and hip so-called progressive/spiritual online scene that fell for all the dumbass racist shit around the Trayvon drama. Fucking astounding how many read and regurgitate the right-wing amerikan-exceptionalism bullshit with their spell-binding wordsmithing skills utilized in this direction. That Trayvon thing was the last straw for most of my interest in blog world. I could name names and give examples of the promoted mind-fuckery, but I don't have the time (nor give a shit) any more.
Yeah, see, 8 months ago I found the beloved of my life after 66 years and a million lifetimes searching. It was, and is, the same for her. It has been that kind of thing where you wake up in the morning and press your head against the earth and give thanks and praises for the unspeakable grace and blessings. Every day your love and admiration and adoration finds a new uncharted level undreamed of.
There had been a past of some consequence. It involved the big "C" - talkin cancer here. It had been dealt with in an unconventional way and resulted in a remission, with a few traces left. It also resulted in some rather radical spiritual transformations, which I'm not going into.
That all took place some years back. In the meantime some forms of psycho-spiritual abuse happened, bringing us up to our meeting and the present. I believe there is some connection to what occurred recently. Five weeks ago a trip to the ER revealed a reappearance. A very 'dangerous' reappearance. My beloved was told if she did nothing then she would probably be dead in a month. So.....we did NOT do nothing. It's been a fast-paced, non-stop, light-speed marathon involvement which has had many elements of unheard-of auspicious split-second door-openings, Ganesh-type obstacle-removing, divine graces of angel-appearances, perfect [real] medicines, and so forth. But it has been, and still is, a full-on journey of exhausting intensity, every day, and we're only somewhere in the middle of this journey. There is only today, and more than that, there's only NOW. Interesting to see how quickly one's attention to bullshit DISAPPEARS completely in this type of situation. Our plans for getting the hell out of this fucked up small-town/sick-ass state are on hold, but just for as long as necessary. That day when we ride out of here and into the next unknown territory will come, inshallah.
I've also got the most important gig of my lifetime 'career' in about 13 days, on the East Coast. I'm also continuing, somehow, to teach my students on Skype regularly each week, but that might change. This gig will be the first time a non-Indian white-boy (yours truly) performs this tribal lineage tradition of the full repertoire in concert at a major venue in the West, so there's a bit of, um, stress and anticipation involved (heh). The timing of the Great Mother, Mahakaleshwari!
I'm actually ok. Just putting one foot in front of the other, keepin on feeding us (from our own garden), and holding the lovetrance space without pause, and minimizing the unavoidable psychic meltdowns that come with sharing this territory. Don't know what else to say.
Well, prayers to help me (and my love) stay strong to move through and support this crucial healing are appreciated. Thank you.

UPDATED - Removing Smoke-Detector Batteries
[UPDATE below]
For last four months I've been quietly muttering to acquaintances about this "evil wind". Been here 23 years, never seen it like this. Every single day - for 4 months - terrific winds swirl through here, bending trees precariously, rattling the roofs above me and throughout the neighborhood. Dark clouds gather, but drop little rain. A sick feeling grows in the gut - something about it is just really 'off'.
Now that I've watched this video (and studied this phenomenon for 14 years), and realize the connection to our daily massively chemicalized skies, it all makes sense. View this updated version of Geoengineering Watch's vid, and see where we are currently at. Share with everyone...that's right, hurt your friends' feelings if necessary (heh).
Are you confused, or just annoyed, at the 'debate' over human-caused climate change? While we can question whether the 'geoengineers' actually fit the description of 'human', it still tends to support the anthropogenic concept. Hell, most of the human race participates and, in effect, supports the shitstem comprising this (shop much today?), and all the other aspects, of the purely evil death culture/war-on-creation, so one would have to conclude that, yes, "climate change" is man-made, and not some damn natural cycle of the damned Sun or whatever part of the galaxy we (or a bunch of wack-shit websites and blogs) might imagine to hold the blame.
I guess I finally put something together yesterday. I am going to throw out my own intuitive/experiential perspective here: that most, if not all, 'other' sentient individual beings, and species, are more consciously aware and connected up to 'source', by incalculable high orders of magnitude, compared to present-day humans. Further, it seems plausible that the archons/predator-mind have always been well aware that the Mother Earth and all her natural creatures, from insects to elephants, from rivers to mountains, are an inseparable intimately connected and interpenetrating self-regulating system. True humans, as well, can only be separated in the mind, but not in fact. Because of this, and the millions-of-years co-operation and collaboration of all elements and beings, we have, and still can occasionally, witness something like the Hopi snake dance bringing a rain-cloud burst upon the holy field, with the co-operation of the reptiles and the antelopes; or the same with a Pueblo-wide women's corn dance. Examples of this, historically and contemporary, are too numerous to list.
What I get about what's happening is that the massive, relentless assault on all creatures and all environmental elements is succeeding in pushing all sentient beings over the limit of combined stresses to the point where there is now insufficient energy within all the diverse collectives of species to effect the self-correction/co-operation processes. The Wetikos/predatory-Archons have been working toward this end for 10s of thousands of years (maybe 100s of thousands?). The 'geoengineering' shit has given them their final boost toward the end-game, and has brought in overwhelming technology that would require millenia to evolve sacred tecnologies to counteract and diffuse. The 'end-game' seems to be some sort of 'trans-humanism' - which in reality is a completely asinine bullshit made-up shit-for-brains infantile mental masturbation exercise. We're in this fucked up situation because 99.99999999% of human beings are nothing but narcissistic 10-year-olds - who should have 'died' around puberty (death of the child - awakening of the adult), as our distant ancestors did for most of history. (Having 'spiritual experiences' and doing 'religious practices' does NOT replace growing up to true adulthood!)
If the ancient gnostics, as well as most indigenous shamanic cultures, spoke of the presence of the predators, I'm not going to question what seems likely, given what we all perceive taking place. I'm also bored shitless hearing about lordly divine entities, immanently-arriving avatars, off-planet benevolent federations, and also the 'illusion' of maya creating, and resulting in, our unchangeable fated 'scripts' along with the 'all under control' platitudinous self-inquiry-stopping meme. A bunch of mental feel-good self-medication. Like Jed McKenna says, "removing the batteries from the smoke detector so you can go back to sleep while your house is on fire".
Not really in a bad mood here. The isolation, except for a few awake music collaborators, is soothing to the soul somehow. Mostly no one but adult children around anyway. They run everything now. More of them chatter up the airways and the internet. Racist children absolutely insisting on their non-racism. Fundamentalist children absolutely insisting on their open-mindedness. Control freaks absolutely insisting on their advanced level of detachment. I have no use for what passes as 'grown-up' conversation, so I usually revert to my strategy of appearing introverted and preoccupied with unspecified senior debilitations. And here's something all the 'experts' on 'immigration reform' might want to look at: US Border Patrol running drugs.
I will admit to breaking into a slight grin on hearing of the viral video of the dog-shooting in Hawthorne, CA resulting inhundreds thousands of death threats to the cops. I guess it's at least simple enough for 10-yr-olds to grok.
Once again this wonderfully 'progressive' town here blew off their fireworks show a block from the animal shelter on the 4th of July. People did show up to take up to 50 dogs home with them for the night. Can a place be 'progressive' while at the same time be run by a multi-generation mafia? I guess so. There's no where else to go.

We here have been searching for information on the original Pueblo tribe name for this place. We are in the forest a short walk from an ancient sacred hot spring. Yesterday a Pueblo man stopped by and answered our inquiry. I will not say the name, but this place is known as "kiva from the before world", and the name used refers to "sky people".
Secondly, since these pages have covered the Wetiko phenomenon and the work of Paul Levy for a couple years since he first published his essays on the subject, I am recommending a new additional essay published July 1st (his book, Dispelling Wetiko came out in 2012). This is a must-read, and delves extensively into deeper aspects of the interdimensional reality of the psychic plague. IMO one of the most important pieces on our current situation, and what work has to be done -
"The 'e'epa/wetiko virus can only be seen when we begin to realize the dreamlike nature of our universe, step out of the viewpoint of the separate self, and recognize the deeper underlying field of which we are all expressions, in which we are all contained, and through which we are all interconnected. The energetic expression of this realization, and the 'e'epa/wetiko virus dissolver par excellence, is compassion."

I will admit to breaking into a slight grin on hearing of the viral video of the dog-shooting in Hawthorne, CA resulting in
Once again this wonderfully 'progressive' town here blew off their fireworks show a block from the animal shelter on the 4th of July. People did show up to take up to 50 dogs home with them for the night. Can a place be 'progressive' while at the same time be run by a multi-generation mafia? I guess so. There's no where else to go.
Hmmm....wait....Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia....hello?

Happy Being 'Nobody', 'Nobody' Knows Everything
Not really feeling like writing so much these days (days filled with a lot of work around the homefront - dealing with 30 years of denial, 'landlord' devoid of any notion of responsibility, will probably require search for new base by fall). I'm hearing similar stories from friends...aah, the ethics of private property/ownership and the idiocy of the two-leggeds.
So, onward.....
Steve Best posted this, but worth reposting - shows what's possible with a little solidarity and creative spontaneity:
As for spontaneity, this is what came about one week in March. My friend thought I should talk about the study and process of learning the Indian drum, pakhawaj, for the benefit of those possibly interested - the 'what', 'why', and 'wherefore'. Simply done, gradually getting into the esoterics after basic discussion.
Some things that rocked me, musically, in the last week....enjoy!
A masterful 'jhalla' (free-form rhythmic improv) by Uday, accompanied on 'jori pakhawaj' (traditional Sikh-style 'tabla' with wheat-paste on bass) by Sukhvinder Singh:
Part 2 of their set, with composition in 10 beats is excellent also - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKK9G6F-y6s
I'm tempted to write a whole post on the phenomenon of blog and/or website 'leaders'/'administrators' going all fascistic in conjunction with their 'fans/followers' piling-on with the group-think lynch-mob mentality toward anyone who even questions the 'authority'/'expertness'/'omniscience' of said writers, whether the subject is public/political or private/personal. But actually, it's so disgusting that I can't waste my energy on it. It is for this reason that I now mostly refrain from commenting on other blogs or comment-threads, with a few exceptions. Just in case anyone was wondering....I see that shit going on, demonizing and labeling good people 'psychopaths' and 'megalomaniacs' (um, projection?), and I'm outta there. Enough said.

Pathless Land
"I
maintain that truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by
any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect. That is my point of
view, and I adhere to that absolutely and unconditionally.
Truth, being
limitless, unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot
be organized; nor should any organization be formed to lead or coerce
people along a particular path. ...
This is no magnificent deed, because
I do not want followers, and I mean this. The moment you follow someone
you cease to follow Truth.
I am not concerned whether you pay attention
to what I say or not. I want to do a certain thing in the world and I
am going to do it with unwavering concentration. I am concerning myself
with only
one essential thing: to set man free. I desire to free him from all
cages, from all fears, and not to found religions, new sects, nor to
establish new theories and new philosophies." - J. Krishnamurti
"To be truly critical is not to be in opposition. Most of us have been trained to oppose and not to criticize. When a man merely opposes, it generally indicates that he has some vested interest which he desires to protect, and that is not deep penetration through critical examination. True criticism lies in trying to understand the full significance of values without the hindrance of defensive reactions." - J. Krishnamurti

Small Axe Sutra
Ah, the beautiful Land of Enchantment, home sweet home, I read is now "one signature away" from becoming the home (Roswell) of the first new horse slaughterhouse, thanks to Monsanto's Tom Vilsack, sec of Ag/USDA, and his boss', Prez O, allowance of the decades-long ban to expire. Evil never sleeps.
You can easily go crazy reading each new 'study', published practically monthly, about 'new' discoveries of the extreme levels of emotional and psychological sensitivities of non-human sentient beings, and how they could 'possibly' exceed those of humans. It's taken a long time, but the Wetiko epidemic has pretty much taken over the vast majority of our species, and the evidence is everywhere you turn and coming at you each second of the day and night. (Hi, bacon-loving truthers!)
What's really exhausting and vimpiric, energy-wise, in the human realm at this point in the yuga is the pseudo- and phony bullshit "spirituality"-slash- religion that forever claims to be of some benefit to sentient beings while the legions of self-appointed and self-deluded 'teachers' mis-lead, mis-direct, and ignore their own hypocrisy and humility-less allegiance to dubious 'traditions', scriptures and buzz-phrases somehow accepted as 'gospel' by the majority of normal human beings throughout the planet. This goes on even while millions of intelligent people are at least nominally aware that all modern cultures have come about through the historical crushing of the knowledge traditions of their indigenous ancestors. It's a wonder. And it's your job as a human being to cut through the bs and acquire a sense of the long view of our presence on earth and its ancient and continuing evolutionary processes, as well as to reclaim what's left of the many streams of intricate wisdom about how to live naturally on the Mother. I guess I'm really sick of the god-and-me, jesus-and-me, krishna-and-me, yahweh-and-us, ganesh-and-me, green-tara-and-me, allah-and-me, my-guru-and-me, even entheogenic-entities-and-me, etc etc trips, and the lack of recognition of the universal mystery of Spirit. And a little humility, for fucks sake.
I recently mentioned the book The Earth Spirit by John Michell. It is a good introduction for anyone with a spiritual interest, and especially for the earth-disconnected Western scientific mind. Another, much deeper, and revelatory volume, that should be the main text in every school on the planet, is Voices of the First Day - Awakening in the Aboriginal Dreamtime, by Robert Lawlor. I'm not even going to begin to review or describe this book. Just see for yourself, and be astonished. We're talking real basic spirituality 101 here, and in more detail than ya can barely handle. 100,000 years of STORY of human-and-extra-human experience; read it and then talk to me about the 5000 yr old monotheistic 'traditions' being something new under the Sun or having something to teach about living. I think it is not much different from the Naga Babas' "Book of Life".
Another fun read is the volume of stories that tie together the Irish/Welsh traditions with the Indian Vedic/pre-Vedic - Celtic Heritage, by Alwyn & Brinley Rees. Don't know about these connections? That's because the his/her-STORIES have been successfully crushed, and we know nothing of our true roots.
Well, here I put in a 30' Shri Yantra next to the garden a couple years ago, before I moved here. We just uncovered it from a covering of waist-high grass, and will soon set it (semi-)permanent with some stones and plants.
I've been putting off telling a certain story and description of personal experience for a long time, but I'm feeling it needs to be expressed now. I've only alluded to it in the past on these pages.
But first, I came across an essay a couple days ago, which some might find interesting, while others will probably have problems with parts of it. I mean those who are 'cooler' than everyone else, who absolutely know that 'left' and 'right' have no meaning in historical political or any other sense. Yes, I'm fully aware of the fact that the Wetiko disease has infected the entire political spectrum, but I also lived through the 50s and 60s with Vietnam, the revolts, the assassinations and all the rest. If you weren't there, you might find it difficult to grok the points made here: Imperialism Is Now Murdering Stories. Anyway, this post today probably will have something to do with 'stories'.
In my town there is a plot of land with various structures, including a temple containing a large marble Hindu deity, a couple of large residences, institutional-equipped kitchen, guest rooms, bookstore, large garden areas, camping sites, and facilities to feed several hundred people weekly and for festivals. It operates under the banner of "remember god, love everyone, feed the people" and other such benevolent concepts.
In actuality, it is a perfect microcosm of our sick, hypocritical societal structure, and run by a thoroughly psychopathic and elitist 'non-profit' board of directors who chose new members from their own clique, aka 'team players'. This is not known to the general public, either locally or internationally. Families from India, spiritual practitioners from around the country and the world, scholars, 'hippies', the damaged survivors of babylon, and every life-style existant, all arrive daily to seek refuge, meditate, serve, offer talents, create sacred music, or just soak up the vibe that appears to be one of unity, compassion, benevolence, kindheartedness, equality, humaneness, equality, respect, openness, and dignity.
That is what appears on the surface. It takes a while to lift the veil of deception. I have observed it for 23 years, and known of the cult secrets for 30. So, why would I even give it any energy, or write about it? Because, for one, it provides perfect metaphors for our spiritual disease and the consequences of new-age 'culture', and two, both myself and my dear friend, as well as dozens of my very close brothers and sisters, have been seriously abused psychologically over the last 25+ years for attempting to make a potentially unique community resource function in a sane and respectful/reverent manner.
A little history: it was begun as a private 'country club' for friends and followers of a certain ivy-league psych professor/jewish comedian/guru wannabe, and who subsequently also got involved with a sick-ass jewish brooklyn woman who claimed to channel various dead Hindu saints and started an ugly mind-control cult in Florida, deplete with all the terror, mind- and sex-manipulation, sexual predation, pedo-abuse, drug-abuse, kidnapping, etc etc. Later, the local place here gradually came to be called an 'ashram' under the name of a noted authentic Indian saint/yogi who had numerous decent followers in India. Now, a number of us do know where the bodies are buried and where the money went, but if I exposed that, I would probably be subject to death threats, as I have been before.
As the years rolled by, the 'ashram' became a somewhat significant feature of the community as well as a pilgrimage destination of Indian immigrants, who donated most of the upkeep funds eventually. The Indians think it's great, just like home, and they respect the dedication and true bhakti spirit of the locals. It became apparent, though, to local people who did all the work for decades (some paid, but many doing "selfless service") to keep the place operating, that the place was actually operating like a maquilladora, breaking all normal labor laws, treating employees like slaves (with lectures on "selfless service") - I know, I know, the Magna Carta has been rescinded, we're back to the dark ages - hiring and firing at whims, hiring those most incompetent but submissive for supervisory positions, to the horror of all who dedicated many hours and years to the community 'satsang', and who know of many members continuously marginalized who have extensive experience, knowledge/talents, and cultural awareness and sensitivity to share and build something we have always envisioned as a beautiful sacred space for dharmic practices. So for years, the best of us have been getting the hell outta there, and mostly outta town, never to return, spending a good spell processing the abuse, and finally getting on with their lives. Then the next crop arrives, always a constant stream of newcomers, naive, idealistic, and unaware of the abusive and disrespectful history, to take their places. It works out great for the psychopaths in charge.
What the psychopaths always claim is that the abuse and disdain toward their 'inferiors' is a spiritual teaching process, a sort of 'for purposes of demonstration' leela of 'the guru' (to reveal your hidden fucked-up-ness), and that He has 'everything under control' - so all you need to do is submit and surrender to His divine wisdom....the dead guru, that is.
Did you know that in the Voodoo tradition, the creation of a Zombi involves an "enforced sacrifice, decreed by an external agent...an act of transgression par excellence...a capture of [the person's] 'small good angel' (which enables personality and will to take hold and manifest). When the 'small good angel' is captured, the roots of the will are thrust into a slavery...the mouth is [symbolically] sewn shut, shutting the Zombi off from the healing power of Naming." (Just thought I'd throw that in there, as it might have some relevance or resonance.)
People only see what's immediately apparent on the surface. I have spent extended time with the big mucky-mucks and the 'sacred music' 'rock-stars' of the cult over some years (they wanted to make use of my drumming skills, that is, until they realized that I'm an artist trained extensively in improvisation and gandharva aesthetics). It was a curious case study of perverts. They give their spiritual raps, hold their expensive retreats, and drive off and laugh all the way to the bank. They care nothing about anyone unless that person can be of some service or benefit to them. They have really nothing to teach, because they've never surrendered at the feet of a real teacher, nor been initiated into the deep, long-term fires of any tradition, but only met a saint once-upon-a-time and concluded that this made them somehow extremely special and important and above all other mere mortals. They know practically nothing about Indian culture as its lived, and have no interest in it, only what they've read about or heard third-hand in the realm of 'babas' and the god-selling business.
The board members and the elite cult-identifiers all support their rock-stars, belittle or take no interest in anyone with anything authentic to offer the community, and continue promoting the philosophy that learning and practicing anything in the traditional way is uncool, and that faking that coming-from-your-heart thing is what it's all about (and being a 'star' and having fans, of course), otherwise you're nothing but shit. The very word 'community' is a forbidden word, never to be used, as it will elicit paroxysms of anguish, panic, and fear of overwhelming attack (from the unwashed cattle). Edicts are issued down and no questioning is allowed, summary dismissal with no prior notice can happen for any or no reason. Workers doing 12-14 hr days have been basically on food rations, while "feeding the people for god". Its as bad as the old missions south of Broadway.
Well, I guess that all sounds pretty standard for spiritual cults, and really no surprises here.
Recently, I had to visit the grand new shiny "cancer center" in the nearby big city. I noticed a plaque on one wing, saying "donated by Lockheed-Martin, Sandia Labs, Los Alamos..." Do you get it? What I'm talkin' about is the biblical shit about "ye shall know them by their fruits/works". Such atrocious horseshit. NO! You shall know them by spending 'quality time' in their fucking presence, and seeing where they're really at and coming from, how they relate to and treat others, and what their daily focus is on and the level of self-discipline. People and institutions everywhere have their 'fronts', their make-believe appearances of 'doing good works', caring about something other than themselves, respect for the diversity of life and spiritual experience. What-ever. Everything is fucking upside down. Here's a different scripture:
Why boasteth thyself
Oh, evil men
Playing smart
And not being clever?
I said, you're working iniquity
To achieve vanity (if a-so a-so)
But the goodness of Jah, Jah
I-dureth for-I-ver -Small Axe sutra
